Since my 9210i broke, I bought 6230. I URGENTLY need help asf:
(1) How do I transfer contacts from my 9210i MMC card to my Nokia 6230? Pls advise.
(2) I tried to Sync contacts data between Microsoft Outlook & Nokia 6230 using Phone suite 5.8 (Nokia PC Sync) but always fail. Pls advise. Thx

(1) The Communicator contacts file is a database (contacts.cdb). Without tooling you cannot read anything from it. There are two tools (ContactsManager and SmartVCards) that can export your contacts to a file. SmartVCards uses the VCard format, but you will lose the custom name of fields. ContactsManager exports to comma separated files. I don't know which of these two formats your 6230 is able to import.
If your 9210 is still working a little, you could use these programs. Otherwise, you could send me your contacts.cbd file (located in C:\system\data on your MMC) in a PM and I'll send the converted data back to you.
(2) You'll have to be a little more specific. Why does it fail? What error message are you getting?
