Hi all,
In my Sx1, when I press #, it opens the menu. "5" starts the digital camera instead of printing "5" on screen. Also "2" , "6" and left joystick button does things that are completely irrelevant.
I already installed the latest firmware (v.10).
Can you help me with my wierd phone?

You can easily test though if the problem is not hardware related but software.
Try to boot the device in safe mode (no 3rd party app loaded) by pressing and holding the shift key (the one with the upside arrow) during bootup (keep holding it even after giving your PIN).
Try to boot without your MMC (in case you have one)
Try to format the phone by pressing the # * keys durinb boot up (you'll loose all your data though).
It seems to me that the problem maybe an incompatible 3rd party application like WildSkinz...
