Greetings from cold Finland!
You know, Finland is one of the rare countries, where you have to pay the total price of your phone eg. the operators cannot subvent prices. I was wondering what's the price throught Europe (and beyond). Here the official price is about 690 ...
How much You have to pay to get 7650?
Here in Portugal, you can get it subsidised, for something like 400, 590 for a less "hard" contract, and 690 non-subsidised, non-locked.
here in the Philippines, where Nokia cellphones are a boom that even our
elementary students dig Nokia phones as compared with other brands, I
got my 7650 for about 27,500 Philippine peso. That's $ 525 if converted to
dollars. The phone is openline, no warranties or whatsoever...
:drive:
:flamer:
199 on contract in the UK (315)
80 with contract of 30 a month and can change back to a cheaper tariff if i want

It may suck that you have expensive phones, but at least you don't have Charlotte Church.
Fancy a swap?
STSE, you got a very good deal!
Mine was 109 with a 25 a month contract.
Mine was an upgrade via my service provider, Orange (U.K.), and cost me 250. Maybe expensive compared to others, however, my contract (PlanAhead 6) is only 4.19 per month 😃

oh my god i feel so cheated!
I paid 885 for mine, no blocks or anything. just the phone with warranty. and that was 50 discounted too.
Overe here in singapore the phone costs about US$600 without any contract or anything. I bought mine for about $US510 with a two year contract. On the plus side, they gave me a free canon bubblejet printer and some voucher for some cruise to nowhere.
99.99 and 14 a month contract !
Here in Malta the phone costs 900 Euros sim-free (naturally!!!) and you cannot get it with any form of subsidy. I got mine from Italy 9 weeks ago and bought it for 679 Euros. Why we pay sooooo much for phones here in Malta is totally beyond me
In Greece costs 600-700 euros
400 ukp sim free ofline, mate got one on Orange for 150 with 30 month contract,
my contract is not up untill March 03 so I paid through the nose 😮(
Mine cost 200 on Vodafone, my line rental is 32 p/m (First day it came out)
Mine cost 229.99 as an upgrade from my 6210. Bought it at a Nokia shop in Leeds, England (actually owned by Carphone Warehouse).
Chose the upgrade because I wanted to keep my number, tariff and cheap Orange Care costs (now at 2.50/month) 😉
mine is about Rp. 7.200.000,-
or US $ 750
Here in indonesia without contract
Got my for around 600$US (30,000Rupees)... But that was on the very first day it was released... I think it might have come down now... (No Lock, No contract nothing).
640 minus 120 for my 8210
Just ordered mine online :-
99 pence with Orange, Anytime 400 (Orange Value Promise) at 35 per month (can change tariff later with Orange).
Bargain.
Got it here :-

99p!!!! 😮 , you win.
Nice one, BUT, I payed 150 for the phone with O2 and pay 25 a month! That makes me 110 pound better off a year than your 35/month plan!
Plus I have 400 anytime (X-network) minutes with 100 texts free a month which adds to the difference! Oh I and I can also change my plan!
So don't think you god a GREAT deal, just a GOOD one 😊
Oh and I forgot! Orange su$$"z! 😃
Nice one.
Can't fault my 99p for the phone, but I agree that Orange have a long way to go with their tariffs. Personally, I have found Orange to provide a good service (used them for 3 years) as long as you don't want to phone them and speak to a real person.
I also don't plan to stay on the 35 p/m tariff for long.
25 X Network with O2 sounds a good deal (for 400 mins).
😃 I know what you mean! I used Orange as well some years ago! They everytime 20 (and then 50) was quite good but that was before X network!
The thing is that we really pay the same price for the phone! We may get the phone Cheaper but the monthly rental is higher, when you calculate it all, its the same price really! You just have to choose the tariff that is for you, if you dont you may pay a lot more than needed!
At least we have the best phone around for now! Well except the 9210, but again this belongs to a different category!!
P.S. Orange has some very cool commercials I have to say!!!!!!
How can people complain about Orange Tariffs?
For those that don't know, Orange have the OVP tariff, where OVP stands for "Orange Value Promise". They promise to match any other tariff on any other network, right down to the smallest detail, such as cost of itemised billing, costs to voicemail etc.
Due to this, their tariffs are as good as any other competitor. Not only that, you can get Orange Care, which is worth every penny!
People should definately stop slating Orange, in my opinion they are the best. I have had lots of trouble with O2 so am now with orange, and whomever said that its difficult to speak to a human at Orange, thats bollox, dial 150 from the handset, press 6 then 2 and you are through to a representative usually within 30 secs, the longest I've EVER had to wait to speak to an Orange representative is about 2 mins that was at peak time.
Orange care (which is free with some plans, like mine) is immense, I could drop my phone down a drain tomorrow and have a new one with SIM card and the same number to me within 24hours.
Then theres the network promise, so if you get cut off because of Orange's coverage then they refund you the price of the call.
etc, etc.
There is so much Orange offers which is beyond the look of the average punter whcih makes them brilliant.
so there.
I agree with Merlin and Headshox,
I'm on Orange and their customer service has always been excellent. When I upgraded, I made a call on a Friday, to order the phone, they said they would try to deliver for the following Tuesday or Wednesday...my phone actually arrived on the preceding Monday. I was working away on site at the time and they delivered to the hotel that I was staying at.
Also as I stated in an earlier post I pay 4&HALF QUID per month on my planahead tariff. 70 Quid for 15 months and 30 mins a month free calls.

Well it looks like when my year is up with Vodafone (had to contract to get the phone 😞 ) I'll be saying hello to Orange...
Got mine for 100 pounds from T-mobile on 25/month contract. Upgrading from Sony Z5 which I lost, but never asked me to prove the loss or theft. Never had insurance for Z5. Seen one at http://www.theorder.co.uk for 55 on the same contract.
Don't get me wrong, I have had 3 years of excellent service from Orange. When my Sony J5 died, I got a replacement delivered to my workplace the following day. I never have coverage problems etc. etc. etc.
But on a number of occasions I have found myself waiting up to 30 mins to speak with someone at Orange. Maybe I've just been unlucky, I'm glad to hear that others have had no problems at all.
My problem with the tariffs was related to the tariffs you get offered when you get a new phone (You sometimes need to be on a certain tariff to have a good deal etc), but that's not really a problem when you can switch later (I have to wait 4 months though).
At the end of the day, If I wasn't happy I'd go elsewhere.
