CEDict 9200 is a freeware Chinese - English - Chinese dictionary. CEDict 9200 uses
the CEDict free online dictionary available at http://www.mandarintools.com/cedict.
CEDict 9200 displays English, Chinese and Pinyin. You do NOT need Chinese support installed on your communicator to use this program. CEDict uses small bitmaps to display the Chinese characters.
CEDict 9200 is written in OPL and utilizes the OPL runtime which is installed together with the program.
CEDict 9200 can be downloaded from http://www.xs4all.nl/~broeze/cedict
NOTE:
This is the first public beta version of CEDict. Use at your own risk. If you come across any bugs or have suggestions for improvement, please notify me at .

Thanks for the compliment. The only reason I created it is that I'm living in Beijing now and a portable dictionary is very handy sometimes.
About the sunset of the 9210 series: I'm hoping that Nokia's 9500 will continue this line of phones. As I understand it most 9210 programs will run without modification on the new 9500.
Best regards
Arjen
Update: the first version of CEDict9200 contains an error in the installation file. Because of this error, the Chinese characters do not display (since they're installed in the wrong directory).
If you downloaded CEDict9200 before June 15, please download it again from http://www.xs4all.nl/~broeze/cedict, uninstall the version on your Communicator and reinstall the latest version.
My apologies for any inconvenience caused.
new version, again, works fine and even more useful. i was happy with previous version that allows only spelling in chinese mandarin. now with chinese charactors it it is a greatl app. i however become a bit greedily that it would be wonderful if u could possibly add either a zoom function or bigger font, at least regarding the chinese charactors. at the moment, thanks you for the great app.
