 phoneside light??? are u sure??? or what u meant to say was the pda's backlight??? If its for the PDA side u can try SmartDisplay by Symbianware... with it you can have total control over your 9210 pda's backlight by switching it off or permanently on... its kinda cheap too!!! 😉
You Nokia Users... 😃
You know, other phones than Nokia, offers the user to have the phone side backlight always on. It is very useful for the car profile for example, when the phone is charging in the Carkit, and you are driving in the Dark.
You can olways point where your phone is if u are not using car Kits...
See Ya
if u want i can stay with u wherever u go.. i'll keep on pressing the NO key, to keep the phone light on 😃
hehe, put some fluo stckers on it, those who give light when it's dark ;p
😃 I suggest bring along a pocket torch-lite... which sometimes comes free with the purchased of DURACELL/ENERGIZER batt... hehehe... 😃
hehehehe... did we solve ur problems now? :P
and btw.. if u locked ur keypad i'll press the power key 😃
 okay i must make some external hardware to press the NO key continously...
Get serious so... again is there any real solution for me
Well... the answer is NO... not yet... 😉
Does the 9210 not keep the lights on when in car kit mode?
If it does is there not a netmonitor option to tell it it's in car mode (there is one for headset mode).
Well well well. So There IS a solution. If you use NetMonitor, you can do this with Test 18.
😮 oh my... how can i have forgotten NETMONITOR???
have not been using it more than 1 year now...
anyway to Mika, u'll need a MBUS cable to activate netmonitor...

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but do you know where in Malaysia I can get an MBUS cable for the 9210? I found one supplier a while back, and then sold my cable and now I can't get any more...damn.
:-? Well... let me make a few phone calls and i'll get back to u...
How much is the price the last time u bought it???

Thanks....I think I paid RM40 for it. The annoying part is that MBUS cables for other phones are so cheap, but it's so hard to get bits and pieces for the 92x0/9110. Just the other day I was amazed to find compatible NiMH batteries for the 9210!
I don't want to incur anyone's wrath by hijacking this thread further, so maybe you could PM me the reply? Thanks! 😃
