I think i will have a go at it now.
Pretty good.
Nice PC interface for quickly looking at pix.
One problem... I had 2 years of images on my phone in 'by month' folders.
Sync'ed it up with lifelog on the PC and when I went back to the phone it had deleted 2 years worth of images!! 😮(
I did not realise it deletes everything from the phone after syncing!!

That's why you have to add to Favourites the ones you want to keep (I think)
I'm testing it right now

I did not realise this either. I went to have a look at my messages this morning and they had all gone! I don't like that feature at all. There should at least be a warning!
My damn laptop crashed, so now i cant test lifeblog. 😡

To get your messages/photos back you can just drag them to the favourites folder old the PC, re-sync and they appear back on your phone, phew!
Yea, it does. But my SMS! Instead of mentioning the sender's name, it says the cell phone number again! (eg +61422889842 instead of Lister Amy)
Oh well ... learnt my lesson. Keep ALL messages in my favourites.
Hehehe ...
Now I know about the Favourites thing... I LOVE THIS 😊
The PC interface is great - would be nice to have some printing options for the images - select some images - select a printing template and away it goes 😊
Would save pulling them into photoshop or kodak print manager.
How about a 'archive to cd' too.
This is just the start, I'm sure Nokia will build in all these kind of features with time.

Hi I've installed LifeBlog on my computer and whenever I try to run the program. The first display appears and then an error msg displayed ''could not intialize, please restart your computer and try again,if problem persists uninstall and re-install.Please can somebody tell me what is the problem and the solution of it.Thanks in advance!!!
Make sure you have direct-x 9 installed?
And if DirectX 9 already is installed, then the most lilely reason for the error is too low an amount of video memory.
Workaround: lower the display resolution to, e.g., 1024x768 to run the app.
Fix: Use a PC with a display adapter with more video memory (32MB).
Hmm, ok just tried lifeblog too and encountered same thing, i.e. everything gets pulled into the PC. I don't mind the sms, but the wallpapers get pulled off too.
I put them into fav and re-synced. but now they appear i know not where, anyone knows which folder it is uploaded to in the phone?
and so you guys mark and add to fav everytime before you sync??
LifeBlog is so annoying now. I've decided to not use the Beta application. If the Synchronizing system in the LifeBlog Full Version is different, I may reconsider reusing the prog. The idea of a LifeBlog is great, but Nokia blew it again ...
I still like lifeblog, I dont use the sync feature thou - just put the MMC in the PC and import the files that way.
Lifeblog does not mess about with my files that way 😉

Must admit I thought my phone was deleting random text message or I was going mad. Then I went to show a friend some pics and they were gone too. Dont really like the idea of having to put the pics into Favourites and esp not the text messages. I mean sync in most other devices would tell you if its deleting from one device, and in a normal sync the idea would be that both devices replicate exactly the same information.
Hi all,
i've enjoyed using lifeblog...
But the prob i'm facing is that whenever i sync, the phone always manages to send files to the pc but my favourites never end up on my phone.
It says instead that there is no longer any room in favourites...event though i've only placed 3 images in favourites...this is regardless of the fact that my memory card has masses of room left on my 7610...
any ideas anyone?
thanks.
