Hi,

It's Nosferatu... Made in 1922, Nosferatu is the first big screen adaptation of Bram Stoker�s Dracula, and it is by far the best... 😉

Except it wasn't really dracula for contractural and legal reasons... 😊 They still got sued for it, and a lot of the copies were destroyed when they lost the case, Luckily, a few copies were in private hands and remain to this day. Thank god for that, coz it is a classic of cineam and rightly deserves its place.

8) Well... in the hands of director F.W. Murnau the film becomes a multidimensional and personal work that diverts from the original... This appropriation by Murnau explains why the title of the film is Nosferatu and not Dracula... Bram Stoker�s widow saw this and brought court action against the production...

Moreover, a beneficial name change preserved the reputation of Murnau�s vampire... 😉
