Anyone had any experience with a 8in1 sim card. Will it work on the 7650
8in1 sim card
What is an 8in1 sim card... please elucidate 😉
Ordered the SimMaster3 from Active Mobiles and it works a treat, I've ordered the 8in1 SIM so it should arrive in the next couple of days. I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!
talk2sk: An 8in1 sim allows you to clone up to 8 different SIMs onto one. It uses the PIN code to select which SIM you want to use. Better than the dual SIM covers.
I've heard on Google groups that there are some problems with this multi-sim card. Some Orange sims are erased in the copying process, and some (the majority) just can't be copied at all. Then again i've heard some very good stories of successful Sim ports. Let us know how you'd get on as i'd love to put my T-Mobile & O2 lines onto one sim card.

Yeah, the software that comes with it claims that scanning the SIM can destroy it 😮 so I used my Orange Pay-as-you-go to test it and the SIM still works. It's an interesting concept.
Ah yes, and its illegal too! 😊
I'm not sure of the legality of this, so i'm locking this thread until I do. :-?

Been there, tried it and wasted my money.
Most UK sims won't work with it. Some do get destroyed, e.g. one of my new Orange Sims. My advice, don't bother.
I have two Orange and two Vodafone Sims, and could only read 1 out of the lot (not much point if you can only read 1)
Older sims used to use a standard that the currently available software could unscramble, havn't come across any software that can unscramble the new encryption. They seam to be guarding it closely.
The idea is great, and the way you can select the sim through the menus etc. would work well if it was actually consistantly possible.
