SPEEDMAN wrote:matthia, all of that will be solved by sendo.i Must say that the bug you mention of mobiclip or smartmovie is NOT a sendo bug.
Sendo has sent some mobiles and development kits to those people to fix all the problems. It's not to sendo to fix applications they didn't even make. Sendo has all the capabilities for smartmovie and mobiclip to work fine, but the applications aren't compatible.
that's why sendo sent the X's to them to fix their applications.
we just have to wait ... 😉
SpeedMan, I have told that SmartMovie and Mobiclip problems aren't bugs but performance problems!! I tested my Sendo X together with Michal Bacik, SmartMovie author, and tests reported low video performance compare old Nokia 3650 too!
And then Michal Bacik is still waiting for his Sendo X handset SDK 😞
I would object to that. Smartmovie should have received it's phone allready. i will try to contact the responsibles.
Sorry, I'm confused. When you say low performance what are you talking about?
Its just that i think the nokia 3650 displays 12 bit 4K colour, and the sendo x 16bit 64K colour. So the Sendo X is outperforming colour rendering by 16 colours to 1. If your talking about framerate comparison, just think of all the extra work the sendo x is doing to produce such good colour depth. Do you have the framerate values for each?
I have seen 2 news :
first good news: new firmware will be available since 3 weeks..
second bad news : all the user that have updated it with beta fw can't update it with the new..
and must send the smartphone at assistance...
I hope don't is the reality...
just to be clear:
both 'news' of previous posts are FAKE
they are not true
there is NO ETA date of the full official firmware
and when this firmware is being released, it WILL BE COMPATIBLE with the beta as well with the original versions installed on the phone ! 😊

Did anyone figure this out? I hate that boot up tune!
the thing about the boot up sound is, that it's very loud.
that bothers me a bit as well. I will ask if it can be added to the firmware.
Let me guess: The frame seems to be lagging behind.
I got the same problem with my Panasonic X700. After many trials/errors, guessing & evaluating with other Nokia 6670 & 7610. I finally come to a conclusion. No default MP3 plug-in in the phone could be the cause of this problem. The Panasonic X700 & 800 are not able to accept MP3 file as ringtone. This means that there's no MP3 plug-in in the phone.
If you disable the sound option during the video conversion using the SmartMovie converter, you should get a very good graphical performance. If that is the case, then it could be the same problem as mine. SmartMovie is using the LAME MP3 codec to encode sound. So, I guessed the program somehow required MP3 function to play the video clip well. What do you guys think?
I'm currently running comparison trials between Smartmovie, Viking DVD, Crystal Player and Nokia MMC. I have a little knowledge of video conersion stuff but if anyone wants to work with me a little on this, I'd be grateful.
I would like to know , weather the mp3 issue, recieving calls while playing mp3 is it solved , am waiting for it, please guys let me know soon
thanx

This is why I think Sendo needs a slap in the face since I am still very convinced they lied about the super crappy technologies the say is proprietary.
Doesn't the boot-up animation [when you turn on your Sendo X] tell you a little about it weak performance?..... yeah, I thought so
=(
