Genie user's cannot specify their own ops logo. The "BT Genie" logo is stored on the sim, where the phone reads it before any logo saved on the handset itself. This cannot be overidden buy using the methods in the thread listed above.

This was done to allow British Telecom to brand their Genie service differently to their BT Cellnet devision. You may ask why they didnt simply load the logo on to the handset before despatching them to customer's rather than hard coding them onto the sim card? Genie sold SIM only packages in high numbers, and the only way to ensure that the new user would see "BT Genie" on the screen of their phone was to write it on to the sim card.

ximplify announced that their updated version of Ximplify SeleQ for Nokia 7650 is going to support operator logo setting which I think will make the process easy.
