Camera quality

I am not very happy with the quality of the pictures form the iinternal camera, even on the best setting, the pictures are large size, between 100k to 500k, but not high quality when viewed.
Can some of you post some pictures taken from your 7610s for comparison by all of us, so we can see what kind of quality we can expect?
thanks in advance!

I Think Nokia 7610 without Flash can Have a good picture but if add Nokia Flash P2 then the indoor as well as a little dark will also removed by that.

i would have to agree - i think that for a phone - the pictures are phenomenal

the 6630 comes with a 1.3mp camera which means bigger pictures - not necessarily better - but that phone also comes with a much faster / better processor which means that it may develop the pictures better

to see the pictures ive taken - check out my moblog http://ritfw.textamerica.com

- i got the phone on Sept. 17th - so the pictures from that point on (beginning with the mickey mouse pocket watch) are from my 7610 - the one's before that show pictures taken with my old inno 90 (vga camera) - as you can see, there is a significant increase in quality...

wow! those photos are pretty good. how do u do that? i dont get it! any tips on how to get the best photos possible? the one of the oranges is very nice! the other ones look good in the thumbnails but when u see the large version they r not that good. i dont know why i couldnt attach more then one pic.. it said file size too large :s

Thanks Zainman, Other are allso good but the size is too big thats why they look like.
i have print those images from Kodak they just look like as captured from 35mm camera.
well abt the good photography u should avoid the zoom to the extent u can.
and see from which direction the light is coming stand oposite side and then capture.

I Think These R Not Captured With 7610.

Well Jazzy these are the images "ORIGNALLY CAPTURED BY NOKIA 7610" nothing is done with them and they are in Orignal size, orignal Colours
i have given the mode under which i have capture the images.
if u want see more samples i can attach more.

Ur welcome vicky but hmMm... somethings fishy here... u know vicky.. jazzy might be right.. i mean the one of the oranges and the flowers is unbelievable! i mean.. maybe im saying this because i have never taken a photo that good with my phone!

wtf!!! Vicky think you've got an admirer!!

Back to the point though, I think the picture quality is sweet. No problems at all. At work at the mo so can't post examples but like already said before avoid the zoom and use the light thats available. Can't fault it!!

Here is a Good Example.
In the yellow flower i have used 1X zoom see how the clearity differs.
sorry for not able to capture the same image with and without zoom.
But in pink flower i have not used the zoom.

Brilliant! superb i must say! and the yellow one with 1x zoom seems better! but how can it be 1x? the camera zooms 2.8 something i guess in the first time.. right?

Still, thats pretty good, even wih the zoom. You can clearly see the water drops on the leaves behind the flower. Just the flower that is out of focus. I'm unable to upload any pictures until I get a new pc so I can't contribute sorry. But it would be nice to see the same picture using all the zooms and the night mode etc. Anyone?

Its promise .
post immediately.

Jazzy1, you are starting to sound a bit creepy 😛. You're not a moderator stalker are you?

Vicky, OMG those pictures are incredible!! I have never had a picture come out even close to as clear. Are you using any camera app? Like photographer, camerFX or anything? All my pics come out blurry. Its true I mostly have taken pics indoors but even my outdoors ones are never a clear as yours. Mind posting a kind of how-to to taking good pics?

Well sikdhadow
i allways use the in bulit camera appliaction.
i haven't got any camera appliaction just use camcoder for video.
but for still i use the orignal camera and i amways avoid zoom to the extent i can.
and let the light come properly then i take images.
u can notice when u on camera after 3-4 sec then we actually see the true colours at then we should capture the image.

Thanks Vicky, so you mean I should hold off on taking the pic for a few secs and see it in the viewfinder first?

Once I've taken a photo I always wait for a few seconds afterwards aswell. I find that the phone takes too long to process the photo and it goes all blurry if I move the phone straight away. If your taken a portrait of someone ask them to stay still for a second or two afterwards aswell.

There's nothing more annoying than taking a photo of a friend and then they look around and you end up with a blurry shot of the back of their head.

It is a good camera but you have to stay really still imo to get good, in focus shots.
