absolutely correct Jazz. i do the same. try my best not to move the phone even after i have taken a picture.. if i take a picture without the back casing of the phone will it be any clearer? wot do u mean opposite to light vicky? yes jazzy1.. wot is wrong with u...

Thanks Jazz1! Thats a good tip. I think, in retrospect, I might be a bit too impatient when taking photos. Will try to stay perfectly still for a few seconds before and after the shot and see how that goes.

I Must say i havent achieved quality like some of the ones here yet, maybe because most of my shots are in lower light. The images i have got so far, look good on the phone but not so good when viewed on pc etc, ie very fuzzy and blotchy. I will have to take some daylight pics, without jerking the camera and no zoom to see what i can get!
Thanks for all yoru replies!

yeah - the camera definitely performs better in well-lit areas - i find the best pics to be outside during the day - when there is a substantial amount of lite

Just wondering ... anyone here seen the Nokia PD-2 Camera Flash being sold in your country?

I'm dying to buy one of these for my 7610, along with a HS-4W BT Headset 😃

also... make sure the lense of the camera is clean 😛

due to my country's condition (humid), the phone's kinda get "oily" easily which sometime cause the lense to get oily too...

if you notice, the back casing of the phone has a whole where the camera's lens lie. so it's of no use to take off the back casing. hehh

Hello people, I am new to this forum but would like to share my fav photos from the nokia 7610, I was pleased to see that the quality remained the same when printed out A4 size.

Hi I am new to this forum. Thinking of buying the 6670. Does anyone know if the camera quality if any different or better or worse than the 7610? Thanks in advance.

I think the mani hardware is the same the difference is of software
May be and hopefully it would be little better not worst then Nokia 7610 Picture Quality.

why are all the images in MB sizes.? mine highest is about 400k on my 7610.. is there some configuration i am missing on my phone or are u guys using something like photoshop on it??

Hi Ravilal, yes both my images have been improved via Paint Shop Pro. The original image is only kb in size when set at the highest camara settings on the phone.

I have to say though, the upload to this forum made them larger in size for some strange reason. (my images are only 220 kb on my PC) that is a mystery to me?

They are not larger in size. The description is wrong,it has one zero to many, the size of the files is the same.

well these are my best pics, for now, made with my new 6670....
they are ok..for phone camera...also i would expect better procesing time..but for now it's ok

this is so far the best one i've taken without any extra affects or software with my 7610 and i find it exceptionally good!

Man, I am seriously down on my 7610's camera. I took a bunch of pics on my vacation and 80% of them were blurry. 😞 Maybe I just suck at taking pics but, for sure, my next camera phone will have an autofocus CCD.

hey i think the pic quality is for real...
u have to take the picture at a bright place and u get that result.
can't u guys see all the pic are outdoor and in daylight.
i've tried taking pictures in diff lighting condition and the best i can get is outdoor.
indoor pictures some time sucks...

Although I carry my 5 megapixel digital camera most of the time, I sometimes find myself taking snap shots with the 7610. Couple of things to remember when using it. Needs very steady hand. Use night mode often. Focus free needs distance from the object.

by outdoor u mean taken while standing in daylight? coz the pics i took aren't really all that clear. i was standing in the shade, though. does that affect the amount of light which reaches the camera?

also, does the difference in the distance between the objects affect the clarity? in the pictures i took i realized that some objects that were closer were blurry, while others that were further were clearer. is that natural?
