Brain Cancer

In retrospect one thing I did notice about my Sendo - was that if I used it a lot, I could feel it. Not markedly, but I could definitely tell I'd been using the phone on a particular side of my head. Not sure how the phone tests out for radio waves - but it certainly feels like it bakes your brain a bit. Something else to fix on its next incarnation - which I have no doubt will be the killer phone. I am already waiting!

You're not alone and im using a Nokia 3660, and like my previous phones I also get the same feeling when making too long phone calls. I think our heads are thin. 🙄

Yeah yeah, we're all going to get brain cancer from using ANY mobile phone.

Better yet, we might get hit by a bus when we walk across the steet!

I've found the Sendo to be very good in terms of the perceived RF "entering my brain". A lot of Nokia handsets (especially the 5110) used to give me headaches - while the Sendo gets warm (so does every other handset on the market) it feels to me like it's giving off a lot less than some other manufacturers phones.

Put it into perspective - you remember that Z1010 from Sony Ericsson (a big company who know a fair bit about phone manufacture) - they've had IMMENSE problems with that handset getting WAY too hot, even burning holes in people's pockets - how much RF do you think that's giving off???

Mindful of the fact that smoking was once considered a healthy passtime with no ill effects, and now look at the situation, I decided 2 years ago not to believe the self protective and self-interested phone industry, and invested in a phone shield case.

I did a LOT of research and decided there is probably only one phone shield in the world that actually is effective, and it's made of the same stuff used in the US military to protect people against harmful EM radiation, including all the frequencies used by mobiles in the world today (3G, GSM, etc). I've had several email conversations with the co to make sure of this. Link is below.

They have a lot of readable info on the realities of phone radiation, rather than the stuff the phone industry wants you to believe, and their products are independantly tested too.
And SAR readings are a nonsense too:

(let the flames begin! 😊 )

Neither me, nor anyone I know gets any benefit from me mentioning them, I just think they're bloody good products. They're also very hard wearing and have taken all the bashing I've given them. And they've protected my phone numerous times when dropped onto a hard surface. The only slight drawback is the display appears a little darker, but frankly that's better than the unknown risk of whatever...
They may not do a Sendo X specific version, but one of the others should fit.

Just my tuppence worth!

By the way, a phone pumping out a lot of heat does not equate to a lot of radiation necessarily, always worth confirming!

I'm sorry, but that website seems to be talking a load of BS!

How can a simple ferite core "shield the body against radiation"? Yet their headpiece wire shield is simply a ferite core!

And what's so special about their leather cases as opposed to anyone elses...they didn't mention how they made them reflect radiation. (not absorb it)

And also...did you notice how they've now stopped production of their phone case range???

I'm not doubting the facts about radiation and mobiles, but I think they were taking the pee a bit!

Hmm...looks like ferrite core shields work to me:

Hmm...looks like unprotected mobile phone use could be dangerous too:

Just in case anyone thought that everyone on this board knows what they're talking about all the time 😊

And remember the phone industry will ALWAYS tell you phones are safe, just like the cigarette industry ALWAYS told you fags were safe.

well i wont get it from my phone, as im still waiting for the cradle 5 weeks now, so i cant use it well and truly dead
