Sending .sis file

Is it possible to send .sis file on Nokia 660 via bluetooth, but without renaming it into
.s file?
Will this change if I update a new firmware?
Thanks 😉

not true :frown: It's the same.
But there must be something to do to allow sending .sis and .mid files. Don't know what

just rename the .sis file! remove the '.sis ' from it and voila! it works! note that sometimes it doesnt :P
same thing for .mid, just remove that extension! but this also works only in nokia!

rename file with an underscore at the end, i.e. xxx.sis_
No need to rename on receiving end, file will install because OS only reads first 3 letters of dot extension to invoke installer.
