I've downloaded the app, prince of persia (its apparently a direct conversion of the classic game) but it won't run. It doesnt even start up. If I try and open it, it simply closes again. Any ideas why. The same thing happens with "The most advanced java game in the world: Kung Fu Fighter."
I finally find two amazing Java games and can't play them! Having said that the Kung Fu one was designed for the SL45i so I understand why that doesnt work. 😞
I can email them to anyone intrested, I just didn't fancy posting them here and incuring the wrath of the admin.
can you maybe send it to me?
Thanks 😊

ur email add ?????
Why dont you zip the app and post it,so everyone could get it,or even better, post the url,it will help you solve the problem faster and everyone wuld have the pleasure of playing it.
The 7650 can run J2ME programs, which is not full Java. If the game you're trying to run is a Java game and not a J2ME application, it just won't work.
can you send it us 2 😃

The SL45i have a specific (proprietary) API for draw fast graphics. A lot of applications designed to fit into it use this API, so you can't use this sw cause it's not full J2ME compliant.

So did anyone manage to run Prince of Persia on the 7650? Or isn't it a J2ME game?
I still didnt get the app, would anyone be kind enough to post the url or maybe the whole app.
My understanding is that Prince of Persia was designed to run on the Siemens phone and so will not run on the Nokia...that was a month or so ago when I last checked.
Sorry, i've been out tonight. Here is the file.
(If it causes bandwidth problems, rather than lock the topic, i'll email it out.)
I could post an URL but as you have to register with the site in order to download, I thought It was easier this way.
This game is for the Siemens m50 series! it is not compatible with the 7650! there is a site witch sells it! And under supported devices there is only the Siemens m50! Check out the link!

Yep,you are right it is for m50,it would not be to hard to port it so it can work on the nokia 7650,it seems that Gameloft dont think that it will be a comercial success on the nokia 7650
they are probably to busy to get their Siberian Strike game for the 7650 up and running.
"Unable to load class com/siemens/mp/game/GraphicObject" .. If it uses many of siemens specified classes it won't be easily ported.
can u send me the apps, i might look into this i am a mobile developer and have worked on symbian OS?
