does anyone have trouble using voice recognition, when you say a contact name it only gives a choice of three, and none of them are the right one tried all the settings but to no avail, i know that some of you will not be using this, but for a super phone i want everything to work ,when is the new firmware out
voice recognition
I dont have any problems.
Have you tried adjusting and retesting the sensitivity and speed & accuracy?
I have problems as well!
The first Sendo X I got worked quite well with voice recognition and
always had the name I wanted to dial as one of the tree alternatives.
On my second Sendo X (The first one did not read memory cards I had to return it)
voice recognition does not work very well, and almost never comes up with
the correct name. In adition the female voice that speaks to me and ask me
if the number is correct etc.. is soooo looow I can barely hear it!!
I pray again that this will be fixed in the upcoming firmware, but I doubt..
I don't know if you're native english, but you have to put an english kling to it
when you pronounce the name you want to dial 😉
I live in Norway, so you can imagine how I it sounds when I want the phone to
try dialing my friend "bjrn christian johannessen" !! 😉 hehe

no im english unfortunantly, and i have same probs as you
I had the same problems are you guys when I first got the sendo x a month ago, found out the recognition works better when using a headset, and you speak with the same accent as the female voice on phone ( a posh english accent ) works a treat after that.
Not easy for someone like me with a broad scottish accent.
