Having gone from a 9500 to a 9300 I am noticing the 9300 runs notably smoother, but neither will run a 1GB MMC
9500 Software Compatiability
What kind of MMC is it? Both the 9500 and 9300 are compatible with 1GB MMCs.
what would be a good (and free!) financial software thats similar to MS Money for the 9500?
RMRBank from www.rmrsoft.com is undoubtably the best financial software there is, and although not free, it's well worth the registration fee. Great support from the author. THere is a free one, I think it's called ABP (A Banking Program), try a search.
In response to an earlier question, I am using a 1GB MMC card with no problems.

paddy, thanks for the tip.looking into rmr.seems nice and fully-spec'd

Nope, works fine on my 9300. It's probably some setting problem or a port issue. Check with your operator. Or search the forum - similar problems have been discussed.
did a search on the forums, and there still seems to be a number of us 9500 users who couldnt get agile to work on our phones. I was hoping that v3.3 would change that. i hope they fix the bug soon.
Aloha !
Probably the dumbest quest ever,
Does Redshift Commander work om my 6630 too ? (I'm scared if I try, the phonefiles will corrupt)

Agile Messenger is working pretty fine with my 9500. No Probs at all... I'm online 24/7 nowadays. I'm even on MSN MESSENGER in the toilet... hehehe.
latest version of the firmware is 4.51 but nokia will be releasing a new one soon.
Nice

I bought COMMANDER MOBILE ANTI-VIRUS v2.0 from Handango and when I try to install appears a screen telling that is not compatible.
The Fonoinfo tech support are very kind and they said that I need to uninstall the first version and try to install another that they send to me by email. But the same!
Anybody has the same problem with Commander?
anybody here in the philippines who is able to access agile on his 9500?? what network are you on?
I have Agile in my 9500 and it works perfectly with Y!M, AIM, ICQ, and MSN. I'm using Globe.
hi chad,
do you have a download link for the agile messenger that you're using? also, what version is it?
thanks a lot.
Agile never used to work on my 9500. But I downloaded the latest version from their website www.agilemobile.com and now it works 😊

Got it from their website -- it's the version right before the latest one.
use this:
http://updates.am-im.net/AgileMessengerSeries80.SIS
Btw AgileMessenger is now apparently no longer free: after a 7-day trial period the user is invited to accept to pay a monthly fee that will be charged on his telephone bill (older free versions will not work until you "upgrade" to the non free one).
I am just wondering if (and how) this fee will apply to me, as I use Agile Messenger only through WiFi connection.
Did anyone here already pay the fee on the phone bill?
Post scriptum: okay, I have the answer. Agile Messenger automatically sends surcharged SMS's to a ringtone service in the Netherlands, through my local operator. The fee is apparently three euro per month.
As a matter of principle, I don't like software with recurrent fee, so I replaced Agile Messenger with IM+ (www.shapeservices.com) which costs a one-time fee of about fourty US dollars.

Not all the application are compatible to the other Nokia phone and reason is the changes in the hardware support which made of the application disable to the other one. Installer Application reads your .sis file and appears if you have got declared a tool dependency. If you have got declared a dependency to a sis stub that can't be found within the target, the system can show a warning note.
In the Nokia 9500 person, the platform stub are often found in Series80v20.SIS. This file is found on the Nokia 9500 person fixed storage in Z:\System\Install. The stub defines the code platform UID, and differentiates Series eighty ordinal Edition from S60 and Series eighty first Edition. The Series eighty ordinal Edition UID is 0x101F8ED2.
