I have been changing two SIM cards on 6600 for 2 days
and now everytime when I reboot 6600 It says SIM card not valid then again reboot and again SIM card not valid... like five times.
In the end it will boot the phone.... WHY??? :con? any similar problem?
The "SIM card not valid" it's shown with every SIM card I put...

yes, it has happened to me too, i just changed the sim to another phone and it worked then put it back and it work but i think its a software thing, maybe because of 6600 comic font, because ever since i insttalled that appears an error at boot time.

If You change the SIM, could You test the new SIM on another phone? Could be the housing of SIM damage on phone - hardware problem - Nokia Service.

Either the phone's SIM-locked if you're getting the error with another network's SIM - or there's a fault with the SIM itself.
If one SIM works OK, then the phone/software is fine.

the sim is tested in another phone and its ok, but sometimes the cellphone fails with another sim
