maybe somebody should make a total white theme now, where only the written stuff is in black, would look awesome too i guess

yes that's the way, change the files to c16 for optimum color count. extract and edit!

the black theme? I think that would be me 😉 😃
I've tried a totally white theme but it's not that good!! the "option" , "menu" and "back" labels are still in white and you can't see them anymore...
I just wish somebody told me how to change the color of the font!!!!!!!! that would improve a lot the possibilities! :icon4:

One last question if you dont mind? 😊 When i export the files they are renamed as "image21-02-10_0..bmp" etc, do i have to rename/save each one as "image0.bmp, image1.bmp" etc?

no but I forgot a VERY IMPORTANT THING:
you have to rename the "image21-02-10_0..bmp" to "image21-02-10_00..bmp", the "image21-02-10_1..bmp" to "image21-02-10_01..bmp" etc for the first 9th (so change the last 0 to 00, 1 to 01, 2 to 02 etc until 9 to 09).
it's a little bug in mbm wizard... if you don't do it it will result in a wrong theme.

hey mend if i knew how to change the fonts and their colors then i would have changed that apple sign that u made in the background to an "x" sign( the sign u see when u turn on the x:P anyways i still couldnt figure out the ultraedit32 thingy, if u make new themes then could u PLEASE rename and edit all the files so i can save them onto my without havin to delete the other "cool" theme u made😃?

sure I made that background allready!!! 😉 but the font is unreadable!
download the last zip I've uploaded (mendocino theme post #18), the names are changed, so you can keep it! 😉
I propose this as a new background but if only we find out how to change the menu color... :frown:

Heres a tip, if you want to get rid of your operator logo create a 1 pixel by 1 pixel image that is the same colour as the area where your networks operator logo normally is (eg black for Spiro theme) and save it with the ICC ID of your operator in this form: XXX_YY_0.bmp
The ID can be found using FExplorer by clicking Options | Network | Info... You want the MCC and MNC numbers.
Eg Vodafone UK would 234_15_0.bmp
Upload this image to c:\system\apps\phone\oplogo (if it doesnt exist, create it)
After a few seconds the Operator logo will change. If you want the original back, or wish to change the image you may have to reset your phone to see the changes.

What if you do want to custiomize the logo, what size should it be?

That im not sure of. Maybe 97x24? Try making an image, load it, and see what its looks like. Its all trial and error (unless somone know the actual size)
why go thru all the trouble , why not use somethin like OPMAN to just put a pic instead of ur network providers logo?hmm..if u want it u can look at imserba.com. they got lots of progs for symbian(mostly nokia but most work with the x, well maybe the sound wont , thanx to the x's super duper sound processor)
Because it takes basically the same amount of time to save a pic and upload it to the Sendo as it does to upload a pic, then load the program and then change the logo 😊

To take total control of your phone. Although it will hurt more if my phone gets lost with all the cool setups in the end.
_p.s. Can you change the animation for the startup and shutdown to look like the SendoX sh!tty animation or better? Thank the wonderful Sendo animation to the x's super duper Graphics processor. I still think we were lied to....

But I get an 'Installer: system error' when I try to install either theme (after right-click, 'Save Link as' with type as text (since it does not give me any other options in XP). Left Click just goes to a page that says I shouldn't be there!
To double check I tried re-installing one of the other themes & it works fine.
With all due respect, who the hell in their right mind would want to make their Sendo X look like Windows XP ?? If you're that loved-up with MS, just go buy a Windoze Mobile phone - invest in one with a big memory though, cos it leaks memory like a sieve leaks water.

Ok i have created a theme, i have Konstrictor.rsc (edited to change locations for other files), Konstrictors_themeIcons.mbm (From MBM wizard) and Konstrictors_themeIcons_XIP.mbm (copy/paste rename) but when i upload it to the phone to try and change the theme, nothing happens? What am i missing?

Save Target As, Print Target, Cut, Copy, Paste are all grayed out
Only available are:-
Open, Open in new Window, Copy Shortcut, Add to Favourites, Properties
