Actually you can! thas how you upgrade the firmware! But in order to connect it to the phone, you have to take the phone apart! The connection is under the keyboard, just beneath the camera 😃

OK guys, I stand (sit) corrected on the cable comment 😊

I suppose the 'custom ROM' theory could work, but how would that affect support of the phone is case of a failure?

Dear Stuart,

Thank you for your email and kind remarks.

With regards to your (and 7650's community's) request, we have been working on a number of things to address some of the limitations inherent in the 7650 but this wasn't one of them - we now ADDed it to our list and is infact on the TOP of our priority list. Unfortunately, we cannot promise you a product/s just yet. Please allow us some time to investigate the technical feasibility of implementing your request. Hopefully we won't kill anymore 7650s on the way there (done this a few too many times - luckily Nokia Malaysia has been very supportive). Once we have done this, only then will we be in a position to make any promises. We will keep you inform on the outcome of our investigation regardless of findings.

Once again, thank you for your support & your offer of assistance. Your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated by all at Ximplify. We will be releasing a new version of SeleQ incorporating some of the requests posted on the allabouter6 forums so keep a look out for it.

Warm Regards
Patrick Anthony

So, looks promising don't you think?
