HI

I dont know if you guys know this, but my 7650 was an offline handset and i am on orange uk and today they agreed for me to be setup for MMS!!! 😃 😃

Forgive me if this is old news!!!

Janafunk.

Let me get this straight! you meen that u did get your phone offline, and made a contract with Orange and they allowed you to subscribe for MMS? Is this what you mean?

I already had an orange contact.....with a Nokia 6210!!

I bought the 7650 form Expansys.com few weeks before it was out in the shops!!!

So far Orange always said they cant subscribe me to MMS as they cannot register my IMEI but I tried today and I was told all that has changed and I now am able to MMS!!!

I had this problem some years ago with my motorola star tac that I had on orange! I bought a Nokia 8210 after a while and they could not change the sim to support some extra Orange menus that came with all the orange-contract phone! They were saying something about my IMEI as well! Well a good thing that they woke up 😊

I have been pestering Orange for 8 weeks since I bought my off line 7650 and put my OVP sim in it for them to activate MMS. I told me it was not their policy to register phones purchased off line where sim swapping was or had been taking place. I pointed out to them in writing that they had actually on two previous occasions eocouraged me to swap sims - once when I had an unisured phone stolen and once when taking a single band phone to europe. Two weeks ago they rang to say they had just registered my phone ( I had provided the IMEI number and a copy of the receipt when I wrote) - since then MMS has worked fine. Anyone on Orange wants to swap some MMS my number 07977473303.

im with orange pay as u go and they emailed 2 days ago to say that mms and gprs will not be available to me at anytime now or in the near future as they dont know how to price it if id known this i would have bought on contract as im soon to move abroad i wanted a pay as u go which is flexable orange is shit ....
