Are there any easy ways of editing the icons and look in the Nokia 7650? I want the Aqua-look at the system.

Icons for Symbian are mbm files pls check http://nokia.warlocks.be for a mbm tutorial which includes icon creation. MBM Whizard should be able to help you with the final creating of mbm files.
Yes ok but is the Series 60 using mbm for icons as well? I am not quite sure....can anybody confirm this?

Can you assign icons to shortcuts? If you can that means that those icons which you can chose are stored somewhere which means that you can replace them (if they are not on a flash part)
there are mbm files on c, but they're app specific.
your background is also stored as an mbm file.
there's one in the seleq dir thats made up of the collection of the icons used inside seleq when browsing for example.
the generic icons are all on z. i guess an app could be made to look elsewhere if you wanted them on c.
ot: is there a disk cleanup tool available. i've uninstalled realplayer and i keep finding crap it's left behind all over my phone.
you can change shortcut icons from a set selection (i guess on z) but i'm not sure if you can use custom icons. and it's not really an icon change rather you're changing the overlay in the bottom left hand corner.
