Still in my eyes can battle with the PS2, shame it didnt have as many games either! But the one's it did have were brillant. Skies Of Arcadia is a classic rpg. I have no games apart from Shenmue.

Mainly the big and many mistakes from SEGA as well as the big advertisement from Sony for PS2 just killed Dreamcast. I also believe that it was much superior than PS2 not only game wise but also techwise. The GPU of Dreamcast (call me PowerVR wich also PC users found later as Kyro2) was much superior against the very basic GPU of the PS2 that most of the graphics work was done by the CPU. It is like comparing a Pentium4+S3 virge(PS2) with a Pentium3+nVidia TNT2(Dreamcast). Gamewise we all know how good games Sega can make. All the arcade games like Virtua Tennis, Virtua Striker,Virtua Fighter or the great Ferrari Simulation Game "F355 Challenge" were a reason enough to buy the console...
Yeh, also alot of the best game were coming out in japan or america. The advertising was awful though, and I still think with as good a game list as PS2, would have been more of a sucess.
