Yes this is true.... after 10 pics the phone needs to be rebooted by taking the battery out. That is very sh!tty unfortunately.

I've never had that problem with taking pics at all, I always save them to the memory card and can take more than 10 pics at a time.

Never had the phone crash on me, I have the vodaphone build v1.63. Although the phone is quite slow to respond sometimes. I'm happy with the sendo as a phone.
Although you have to be careful with what programs you install, more and more new apps support the sendo x.

does anyone know if the lastest version of the expansys firmare off the sendo site will fix any of the bugs mentioned (camera redneed, slow shutter speeds and camera only takes 10pics

the camera never crashed on me, even thou the most pics i have ever taken was definetly more than 10, i think 90% of all symbian progs work on the x(most games are without sound thou). my x doesnt really crash often, probably crashed like 5 times in 3 months. like kirkton i am happy with my x.

what version firmware do you have

There are NOT any problems with taking pictures on the X. If you're phone is crashing, then maybe it's faulty.

I take a lot of photos on my phone and have never had a problem with it.

my sendo has been dead now for at least 2 weeks, have now thrown it in the cupboard. still waiting for cradle from expansys so i can charge battery up separate, as you all know phone died on a full battery in update mode so cannot charge it so phone is completly had it untill cradle arrives, which is now been put back so i could be without my phone for at least 5 weeks, then it might not work who knows. gonna buy another phone while waiting. anyone know what comes near sendo x on a phone

The Sendo is not a crap phone. Some features may not work as welll as they could, but i dont know if its just down to software, or me not being able to update to the latest Firmware.

pictures arent that bad when the lighting id say it would look good enough on a phone screen would someone else mind posting pictures taken with the x camera or give me a link to where there is some i tryed searching but couldnt find any

It's Dutch so I'll give u the instructions where you'll find the pics taken with the X >>>

- first go to 'toestellen' and then 'merken'
- you'll see all the phonebrands that are available..pick Sendo 😉
- then pick the Sendo X
- the third column says: 'vergelijken - media archief and reviews' < click on reviews
- and then click on the blue line: 'Lees hier de oorspronkelijke review van de Sendo X'
(sorry I put you through a language hell but at the end you'll find 60 pics taken with X in all kind of conditions 😊

- go to the bottom of the page where it says: 'pagina 2' got there and then 'pagina 3 at least pagina 4 (translation, page 4!)

- Then there are some blue columns and you must pick 'Foto show' from 'Extra's'
- there u have all the vids and pics taken with the masterpiece called: X

* BTW - the pics are in the 2nd column...and the vids in the 4th...pitty u can't read any Dutch 😉

Here are a couple of pictures taken with my X,as with any digital camera the end result depends on a number of variables i.e.lighting,proximity to the object,steadyness of hand.
My wife has a Nokia 7600 and the picture quality is at least as good as she gets on her phone.
