Yes, that is a little noisy, maybee because it's a night shot.
But 4 secs in Noiseware soon sorts that..
Post your megapixel camera pictures here!!!
true, thats looks better
but the thing is all my pictures are grainy!
even the ones in daylight
is there a chance my camera lens is screwed up?
Low light shot with night mode on. Came out better than I expected after looking at others.

Hi.
It's called noiseware from www.imagenomic.com
Works a treat on most images - you can also just point it at a folder and press 'go' and it will go through all the images and smarten them up.
It's very fast and the default settings work fine most of the time.
Think I read somewhere they are working on a symbian version - so you can smarten your images before they leave your phone 😊

Now that is an APP I would pay for, that Symbian noiseware. Good stuff, hope they do release it.
Taken at the highest resolution but resized to 640x480:

To those that are disappointed, make sure the plastic covering the lens isn't covered with dirt or fingerprints.

now of to find Noiseware app!

THIS is the reason for having camera phones; when you're happily having a dance in a squat party in some warehouse in east London, and you see a robot couple on stilts come and start busting better moves than you.
Again, these came out much better than I expected.
.
Resized to 640x480. It is taken in a pretty lowlight enviroment.
The 6630 camera is very good. I have quit a lot of nice photos. The noise is probably caused by a dirty lens, a higher zoomlevel, or the grade of light in the area. Every camera needs light, every lens has to be clear of fingerprint and dust and digital zoom always sucks. If you want better pictures than the 6630 can offer you should consider buying a canon eos 300D or some other camera with a lot of megapixels, but then you have a bulky camera which can't be taken with you in your pocket and you can't call with it....
The phonecameras are meant to be used at the moments when you don't have a camera, but you still want a photo of the situation and in such a situation the 6630 is today the best phone to have. You have a 1.3mp camera, a broadband internet connection, phone, e-mail service, etc etc with you in a device not bigger than any other average phone. 😃
