Hi, I've got a Nokia 7610 on O2, and have problems using the wap and MMS messaging. Whenever I try to connect to a wap page, I get the error message: "Unable to connect, check connection settings". I've tried different settings but the message still comes up. I am also unable to send MMS messages, they just sit in the outbox, I'm not sure if the problems are releated?
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
Wap/MMS settings
You should ask the operator and do the settings manually and ask the operator that you are using Symbian Phone.
Some Setting may difer.

i can send but i cant RECEVE... help.
after spending an hour on the phone to o2 data support (@ 60p per minute!) it appears that a lot of people are having problems with o2 settings. so here are the current pay as you go settings.
connection name: o2 wap gprs
data bearer: gprs
a.p.n: payandgo.o2.co.uk
user name: payandgo
prompt password: no
password: password
authentication: normal
homepage: http://wap.o2.co.uk
you then need to press options, scroll to advanced settings, press select & enter the following
phone ip address: automatic
primary name server: 0.0.0.0
secondary name server: 0.0.0.0
proxy server address: 193.113.200.195
proxy port number: 8080
try this as your default access point. it should work
here are the pay as you go mms settings

im in croatia VIPnet, i dont' 'think ist's setting..all are correc.. is this can be my phone has error.
THe trick is to get the correct settigns for O2. I'm on monthly contract with O2 and my girlfirend in on O2 PAYG, and the user names on the settings change depending on which type of sim card you have.
eg it may NOT be payandgo.02.co.uk if your sim card is a monthly contract
Also, make sure you have activated your sim card with O2 and that it data enabled, which will allow you to send receive pic massages as well as get on line.
My problem is that I can send / receive pictures, get on line via GPRS but can't connect via WAP to download my email.

you need to ask o2 to activate "o2 mobileweb" & send you the settings. this access point should allow you to access e-mail.

The problem is that when I first had the phoen I connected perfectly via WAP to recieve and send to my POP2 ntlworld email account, but now the phone won't even connect, and even the O2 shop couldn't work out why. I've double checked all the settings, but to no avail.
