thank you very much this is what has been buggin me for the last couple of weeks for my friends and my sisters phone the 3230 has the same problem
just a thought, for those who dont want to lose their msgs that are saved on the phone memory trying backing them up using this program and i dont know though if it can restore them after u run that msdrive application

No offence or critisism ... but i used to use message storer b4 .. and believe me .. the way messages r stored .. its like junk alphabets put together ...
Just a lil Boredom experiment and this is what i come up with .. D'load Oxygen Phone Manager .. now i guess if people using message storer would also use a bluetooth to transfer em right ? .. so all u have to do is install OPM .. and configure it to connect through bluetooth .. send a .sis file to your phone that creates a connection between the software and your phone .. and voila your connected ...
I rather not bother with gettin a full version .. if i wont be using all the options .. but the only options that i use is :
1) Read all contacts : and save as OPM file or a text file for later use ( BACKUP )
2) Read all Inbox & Outbox messages : and select all and save in one file ...
You would be surprised to see the order and tidyness of this software when it save all smses and contacts in a file ..

yeah i use that program its tight as hell, cant wait though until it supports the 6680
Same problem for 7710 where you can't configure messages on MMC.
Do you think the same little program can work on 7710??
Plus.. does anybody using Hoxygen program know if you can copy the messages database form a telephone (i.e. 6600) on the PC and then transfer all this to another telephone, in order to move all the SMS/MMS from one telephone to the other?

Thanks. My little bro asks me to find this file on Internet. He is using N-Gage. I don't know that N-Gage also face the same problem.
i'll save all my sms to MMC by using msvdrivee, the problems is when someone sending me a file or pictures i can't see it on my mailbox *i'm sing file manager*, the only way to trace the files or pictures is by going to e/system/mail and copy folder 00001001_S, so is there any solution or other file manager to solve this problem?, its really annoyed me, thanks =)
