For 9210 i highly suggest the one by PurpleSoft...
Terrific graphics with 2D and 3D display options, along with a choice of board layouts and piece sets immerse you in an enjoyable game of Chess, whilst the many options such as the 4 choices of notation, the ability to take back and replay moves and even show threatened peices help develop your game.

Time will be difficult to keep track of, but the built in chess clocks and the save and re-load game features enable you to play a game anywhere, anytime!

Regardless of your playing level, Purple's Chess is a stimulating and challenging game for beginners and grand-masters alike!!!

Fantastic chess game for the 7650 here:

Public beta at the moment. Definately worth a download.

Andy.

Try Spruce's Chess game available by WAP from wap.spruce.jp

It is fairly basic, has varying difficulty levels.

ChessGenius has got to be the best chess game out there... set up positions, choose difficulty level... and the algorithms used are extremely good, as the best I've managed to do is stalemate!

I got the purple software version of chess. 2.02 i guess.

Played with it a litle and it is quite strong.

give it a try at www.purplesoftware.com
