Cut and paste?

Am I just missing something that is in front of me, or does the Nokia 6630 have no cut and paste function? I'm trying to find an easy way to pull something like a phone number, email address or passage of text from a mail and receive and forward it on or paste it in the address book.

If you press the "pencil" button and move the cursor, you can select text. Once text is selected you have options to copy and paste....

You can also use the find feature to take information from text messages. When the message is open, options, find, select relevant criteria, then find. Once chosen you can take the information and store it in contacts. If you are finding a web or wap address you can find it and connect. You can also take information from wap/web pages and store it to the phone i.e. if you do a find my nearest search for a take away outlet, once you have their details you can find the number on the page then store it to your contacts.
