hi everyone first

sorry for bad english

I have a big problem with my one week old n6630. i cant take videos anymore, pics without problems but when i switch right to video mod the phone saya "function not supported" taking the mmc out helps and i can take videos on the phone mem. But taking the mmc back in the phone while in the video mod let the phone show "system rerror" and than it goes back to picture mod. format the card didnt help. should i boot the phon with the *#7370# / *#7780# (will use these codes harm my warranty?) codes or take it to the service. thanks in advance

Hmm strange. If your videocamera works with phone memory and not with the mmc card in it :con? Will probably be a mmc card error.
What i tried is doing the same as you did. If I take my mmc card out while in the camera mode (video or photo doesn't matter) it shuts down the camera program. When i restart the camera without the mmc in it it will automatically go to the phone mem. Putting the mmc card in again (does not shut down the program) it still uses the phone mem. Then I went to settings to aply the mmc. No problem discovered. ##my firmware is V 2.39.15 (Vodafone)##

Booting the phone with the codes *#7370# / *#7780# should not be a problem caus those codes are built in by nokia. It is the same as your ctrl+alt+del reboot-combination for the pc. It should do no harm.
If the codes did not work you should go the the service center.

I had exactly the same problem on my 1st day with the 6630. The only way to resolve it was to do a hard reset. There had been a conflict between an installed app and the camera software. If you list everything you have installed, maybe we can find out which app it is that causes the problem?

Hi everyone

I solved the Problem!
Some about a incompatible app was also my firsr idea ( im sorry i dont know any more which app exactly harm this) so i rebooted the phon and formated the mmc (3times befor was cleared) 😮 But bevor i did this i called my provider (o2 germany), and because my phone wasnt 2 weeks old i send it in today and will get a new one, i hope in the next 2 days 😃 😊 😃 The best solution i expected!
