Firstly I just want to say that if you have not yet been able to unlock your Nokia 6630 HAAAAAAAAA!
You all should have researched to see if you can actually unlock that particular model unlocked before you bought it!!
Being a Vodafone employee (in the account management and service management department) I would like to add my part to this slagging off of Vodafone.......
If someone who has purchased this particular phone complains to me about there unlock problems I will be laughing my ass off!!
You have bought this phone from Vodafone, knowing at the time that it was an exclusive handset to Vodafone.
Also the comment that "The_Fellowship" came out with
"Just got off the phone to Vodafone CS. They reckon they are STILL waiting for Nokia to supply the unlock codes. I had a bit of a moan at the guy coz I've been waiting since Dec 9th! I told him I wasn't gonna pay the 20 and he said you have to have a word with the accounts dept. Had a chat with them and they have said they will credit me the 20 once I have the code. Apparently it's an automatic charge, so you'll get charged once they give u the code. I'd avise anyone else who's been waiting ages to have a moan at them and tell them you're not satisfied with their service and you're not prepared to pay the 20.
I know it doesn't get the code any quicker...but at least you won't have to pay for it if/when it does arrive "
Trust me anyone else tries this I will not be crediting your account I also will inform my colleagues to be cautious if they receive similar complaints!
Also Vodafone do not produce the network unlock codes Vodafone request them from Nokia, (BIGLAD take note) it also takes normally depending upon the handset you are requesting the unlock code for 14 working days.
So
"BIGLAD"
"Got off the phone from Vodaphone about 4 hours ago and they are still singing the same song. " We are waiting for Nokia to Generate the Unlock codes ".
Bunch of muppets."
Your going to have to wait a lot longer that 4 hours to get an unlock code in fact by my calculations that would be err 336 hours.
Oh yeah, and finally I would just like to add that this is not a of COM issue, it is your own stupidity that is the issue! 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃
