You're welcome! 😊
@messus & Kage Musha: you did the microphone trick almost 4 months ago, how well is the mic working today? Did you have to repeat the dismounting process?
I did in mine 3 month's ago and so far so good
Thanks for the instructions.
Microphone works fine now!!
Pleased to be back using my Sendo...
Dave
Followed your instructions and microphone working fine now.
Cheers
For anyone still having problems with the microphone - Sendo Smartphones has genuine replacement Sendo microphones available to buy. They're a new design, which prevents these problems from re-occuring.

That's great news, and at that price I'm buying one just in case. As I understand it, the problem with the original mic was poor contact with the circuit board due to dirt (or insufficient pressure?). How does the new one avoid this? Some sort of spring loading? Is any special cleaning fluid recommended for the contacts on the circuit board? TIA
The connectors on the original mics are flat - on the new ones they're (quite long) pronged connectors, which will make a far better connection with the motherboard.

done before!!! The slow closure-time seem to be gone, and the red
colour in the pictures also seem to be gone!! 😮 😊
I disassemble and reassemble my X just yesterday.
Wonderful how this could improve the mic quality, but i had no news about the pictures quality... Crappy as usual...
Maybe you forgot to post some step/photo ? 😉
Is there someone who try to disassemble the internal camera cover (the brown one immediatly under the black cover with the flash hole) ?
I was tempted, but with no kind of walktrough i'm too scared to destroy it... :frown:
