Can somebody please give me an honest opinion on what is better out of the Smart Movie Player or the Makayama Mobile Media Player?
Thanks in advance.

Having tried both, I definitely think Makayama does a better job at playing back the vids. However, the PC converter could use a few more options. But yes, the Mobile Media Player is clearly the better software IMO.
Strange thing though, because SmartMovie is such a good player on both UIQ and S60. I think the folks at Lonely Cat Games need to do some serious work on the S80 version, because I cannot see any reason why it should perform so poorly on S80 compared to UIQ and S60.
Yea Smart Movie is a bit slow so I guess Makayama Mobile Media Player might work better.
Ei guys where can I get the makayama media player???
It might be a good idea to check in on the news section of the forum (or front page) from time to time (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/34129/). 😉
You can download a trial and/or purchase the Mobile Media Maker here.
But on the trial it doesn't seem that you can zoom any further on the videos and the PC converter is a bit basic. Is this the case in the full version or is this not a major problem?
Hi,
I have tried with some dvd movies, Feature Film, but I can't get a correct image proportions. The high of the movie appears lower than the correct size on the 9500 screen, then the film is deformed (see attached files).
I tried with TV and Home Movie formats, but the image is very small on the 9500.
Please, do you know if this size trouble can be improved?
erm... can this player playe don N6230 or N3230???
