i can only comment on the generic version that i have...i haven't had one single problem with mine...it's a superb handset...for me, there is no bad points to it...i love every aspect of it...however, i would advise not to buy it from vodafone...i won't explain here, but you should just find the vodafone thread and read that...get if on o2 if anything, as the handsets are generic so they are open to all networks, and arent branded like voda's n tmobs... 😃

well, the only comment i have is how noisy the images are when in low light (its worser than other phones)

i hope its just something to do with the firmware, and that nokia will resolve it (hopefully)

other than that, everything's just fine

some people complain of re-boots - memory card unrecognised - and a few other faults.
I have not seen these on my generic non branded 6630.

My early problem of memory card not recognised was because the memory card was not inserted in far enough for it to click in place - my fat thumbs could not push it in enough so i assumed it was the door that held it in place - not so, use a pen to push it right in and it clicks into place and does not eject out by itself.

yup cracking handset, highly recommened. But i do hate the fact that the screensaver doesnt show SMS (which is fixed by new firmware) and lack of larger mmc. Also i really dont like the MMC opener thingy, its very flimsy and its only held into place by a bit of plastic which seems to push into some switch, that whole door is a bit "cheap" in my opion.

Also check out the keypad, some people have found it a tad small but seems ok to me, interesting to see if nokia produce some additional lens' as the original one can be removed from the back cover 😉
