3G coverage T-mobile vs Orange

I am considering getting a 6630. The best deals seem to be on T-mobile. I would like to know if their 3G coverage of the UK is any good or whether it is worth spending the extra and getting it on Orange? Has anyone out there got a 3G phone on T-mobile and what is the coverage like?

is you want to knos anythinh about the coverage, there are also coverage maps on the official sites of the operators,or try to ask them 😃

3G coverage on on Orange is better than T-Mobile. T-Mobile are still not that great for actual 3G. Make sure the tariff does include 3G too. Some places sell the phone on 2G i think. Remember i know Orqange and Voda have an integrated 3g/2g network so you dont get cut off in transitions. I assume t-mobile would have this too?

Have T-Mobile officially launched their 3G network yet? I thought not. So you should get the phone on Orange.

I'm on t-moble and in London I've always had a 3g signal. Not ventured futher afield yet so I can't really comment. From what I've seen though if you're going to use data then go for orange; their data calls are cheaper than t-mobile and I think they are giving away silly amounts of bandwith for the first three months of their 3g contracts.

Can I ask how you manage to get a 3G signal if T-Mobile 3G is not yet available for voice calls? I thought it was only available for their data card users.

The 3g signal is available for t-mobile customer to use, however t-mobile haven't officially launched any 3g content or packages. If you look at their tarrifs you are able to add pre paid data to any tarrif and this is essentially the extent of their 3g offering.

Their data is pretty expensive from what I see though.
