Delete data trash?

Has anyone experience which folders/files contain data trash, remains of deinstalled programs, of mail attachements and so on and can be deleted, like the "temp" folder at Windows?
I mean such folders like C/system/data. This one has 432 kB, and there is for example a "logdbu.dat" I have no idea what it is for - and it needs 102 kB! What happens if I delete it?
One folder I know u can delete savely is C/Nokia/images_tn. It contains thumbnails of all pictures, even such you have yet deleted. No problem to delete the whole folder.
Any suggestions appreciated ... 😊

I do hav the same file in that directory but mine only occupying 6k. I guess if u r not sure what is it for, better don't touch it unless u r prepare to bring your phone back to nokia service centre to hav a reset.

I had browsed through c:\system\ , I don't think that you can delete any files. It thin k it's part of the system.

there are files that can be removed. after uninstalling realone player there were still .cfg and .ini realplayer files left over. i think you have to be really careful though. you could transfer the files to your computer first as backup, but even then you could make a big mess for the sake of 100kb.

it would be good if someone made a disk cleanup app - removing all unnecessary files.

hmmm .... I think worst thing that can happen is that I have to do a hard reset for myself ... probably I should do this ... would clean up the phone, and then I can reinstall the important things with desktop suite ...
