Hi! I just found out about this forum so im kinda new here. I have this big problem on my phone. After installing MIDP-Man on my phone it says Application Error. But still I can run the game. Since then, everytime I install programs, it keeps saying 'application error!' after doing the installation. I tried removing the MIDP-Man software but still the problem exists. Is this a virus or something? BTW the site for the MIDP-Man proggy is here. http://www.javaonthebrain.com/java/midpman/
Can anyone help me pls? Is there any way I could remove this problem or something?

I guess that your phone's OS could be having problem. Try restoring your phone to its factory settings and see if the problem persists. 😉
PS: MaleBuffy & folks out there, what do you think? 😉
I think this is more of an application problem rather than the OS (Hence the error) Although if you are using an early firmware version this may be your problem. I tend to get quite a few error messages that don't really mean or affect the phone or any applications running.
Dunno why but most of the Java progs have alotta bugs 'n problems, is it me or it that common?

When posting using Webviewer, everyone seems to leave the same IP address, is this due to the fact that you are using the Webviewer server rather than your ISP?

I am not quite sure if this is an application problem since I to installed MIDP-man and had no problems! Dont foret you have an OS in your phone and you can do some damage to it! If you have an BT or IR now would be a good time to backup your phone!
You could try uninstalling all software, power cycling the phone and then installing again! If the problem persists, do a Hard-reset (format) the phone!
thanks to all the replies... i just did some experiments removing all of my installed java midlets... and installing em again... i found out that when i try installing proggies and my current view in the phone menu is in Tools/Application, it solves the problem. But when installing and the current location is outside the Application menu, it kept saying the Application Error! message.
Is this normal? How do I format or reset my phone? Can anyone pls pm me? Thanks alot in advance!
No its not normal! At least I dont have a problem with this (3.12) You format our phone with *#7370# BUT you will lose any applications that you have installed! IF you format it be sure to have a full battery and the charger in the phone!
