Should the contact picture appear when the contact is calling me? It doesn't on my 9300. Is it a bug that i should report to the agent and have a new firmware installed?

As far as I know, the callers picture is not shown on the cover display, only the big display inside.

Usually this means that you have two entries with the same number and the system can't know which picture to show. I had this yesterday!

It seems a bit lame to not be able to have the phone display a picture of the person calling on the cover display, if a photo has been associated with the number, & can be shown when in the contacts.
What's the point of having a 65K colour screen on the front, if all is is used for is showing the battery & signal bar, service provider & a clock, with a pretty backround picture. What a waste!!!
Come on Nokia - sort this functionality out!! - Even my crappy old 3650 (a series 60) could be set up to show a picture of the person calling, if one was stored! 😡

To view a contact picture on the cover, install FS Caller software. I tried that & it works fine. (Full Screen Caller)
Where can i get the FS caller for 9500???

Does it work on the 9500 too???
I bought the FS Caller again because I used it on my old nokia.
Thinking it would work, an error showed up.
I think this was because I installed in the open laptop, not the cover.
Did FS Caller work for anyone? :icon4:

Do you mean you installed Series 60 Full Screen Caller on your Nokia 9500 (series 80) phone & it worked.. thats not possible.
Which FSC version did you try..... let us have a hand at it also..
Hello u seam to mix to platforms m8 atm. there is no way a picture of caller will display on 9300/9500s external (small) display no matter u have it saved to that contact. Further more i think no software can add or will be able to add this in the future ... only the allmighty Nokia can provide this with firmware update that will incluse this do in my opinion they wont bother ...
