Headset speaker too freaking loud

Anyone have such a problem when a caller call you ( he/she also uses a Nokia phone). You feel that he is shouting coz the volume too loud, even you try to min. it to the lowest.. still too loud?

Is that a firmware bug (v3.12) or is it becoz of the EFR ( Enhance Full Range )?

i never encounter that, what is the efr code for 7650??? i tried *3770# but nothing happens

My wife also complain that both our phone's volume are too freaking loud..even tho' we mininise to the lowest.. still too freakin loud.

My wife uses a 8250. My friend uses 7650 have the same problem too!

I really wonder is that becoz of the EFR is too strong????

I didn't noticed that on my 7650 (v3.16). Volume is normal (I think)

I think you should consult your operator on this...

I have a 7650 OS Ver 3.16. And i dont seem to have a problem at all with the volume while talking to my girlfriend who has a 8210 or most of my friends all of whom have nokia phones. 😃

Actually i think the voice clarity and voice level (volume) are the best in the 7650 as compared to the other nokia models i have used

It's a problem with v3.12, and it is not limited to Nokia phones (IMO). Anybody can call from anyphone and it will still happen occasionaly. Just so happens that most people use Nokia's.

I get it whenever my girlfriend calls me (She uses a Nokia 8890) but it has also happens occasionaly when my mate calls me from his Sony Z7.

To solve the problem turn the volume up and then down quickly. (Right then left on the joystick) when the call is answered or get a software upgrade. 😊

It's not that big a deal, and I can live with it for now, although a combination of that and the non-functioning speakerphone will eventualy drive me to an upgrade. I just dont fancy being without my phone. I'll probably drop it in when I go away at Christmas.
