A New Keyboard For Your Communicator?

Pay for a keyboard driver?

WHY?

Your right, the Nokia 9500 does have a good keyboard,

Wouln't be so bad if it came with the keyboard,

Carl,

Anyway 2 keyboard drivers, both released on the same day!! Like buses.....

The build in keyboard is perfect for mobile operation, but you need the hands of a 5 year old, to be able to type with any speed and accuracy.

....try the software and see what happens.....it just provides a connection between the devices but of the 5 strikes on your keyboard only for are correct...the fith is providing the surprise from the developer...don't buy unless they provide the GOOD software...and indeed the price a way to high!!

I also think an external keyboard for Communicator isn't necessary, especially not if the text entry is unreliable like Bart describes.

But, I still miss the keyboard of my 9210. On that machine I was able to type very quickly, almost just as quick as on my laptop's keyboard. The 9500 keyboard is much worse. It's almost impossible to type at a high speed, since the keys are too close together and it's very easy to hit two keys at the same time (the biggest problem for me is accidently switching on Caps-lock when pressing the Shift key).

Hi there, are you saying that because you tried it in 'trial mode' it is disabled in the way you describe? So that means it would work okay if it was purchased, is that the idea?
