how can i send a Operator logo or Picture msg by IrDA?
if i send it as .bmp to any nokia phone( 6210, 6310, 8310.. ) doesn't work ?
i'm using MyStyle now, but u must send them by a sms!
any way??

Enrique, I guess that was the only way and the purpose of it, by sending via network. or else you can use IrDA with Logomanager.

Yes! I use Logomanager to send via IR as well to others Nokia phones. :roll:

but Logomanager doesn't work with communicator.. i've tried several time to get it connected..

Yes it does, but you need to change the 9210 to use FBUS connection instead of Serial, and you do that in Netmonitor, which you activate by using an MBUS cable and logomanager.

Besides the operator logos, I have several wallpaper collections as well. One problem is that they are too many/ large to zip and to attach. Dont have a website yet. I am currently making one. Any one has a suggestion on how I contribute these wallpapers? I tried posting some on Patrick's site but it will take ages before I post them all.

Yes! a better idea by changing it to FBUS mode rather than serial. 😉 However, it situated in menu 31 from the netmonitor. thanks..

Either by SMS or Logomanager if you have NetMonitor enabled on your 9210

You need a program to use the logos/ pic msgs. You can use MyStyle or Emessaging. Both works fine. With MyStyle, you can use the logos automatically without sending it first to yourself. Its more expensive, though, compared to Emessaging.

ok I have the logo I want on my d: of my 9290, how do I get it to the screen?

using MyStyle
Operator Logo ==> New ==> Options ==> insert logo from a file ==> Browse to the logos ==> insert the logo ==> Options ==> set logo to phone.

Fortunately I have an 8310 aswell as a 9210 so i just put in a spare sim in the 9210 then use logo manager with my 8310 via IR and send them this way,if any of you have a spare phone with an IR port give this a try 😃
