My phone has never refused to turn on before, but today it has done it twice. The only change i've made to the system has been installing and using s-compress, which i have now removed... no problems again. 😮
The phone will freeze during normal use, i'll remove the battery, but then not be able to turn it on again. (It charges as normal)
I've managed to turn it back on both times, only after pressing the power button time and time again for about 5 minutes.
Since removing the compression software i've gone back to a completely stable o/s.
Anyone else had similar problems? It may not be the compression soft. at all, just seems a bit.. dodgy? 😉
I have the full version of Scompress installed on my phone with no problems at all.
Which Firmware are you using and how much memory did you have left after installing Scompress with nothing compressed?
I had nothing on my phone at all (had removed everything to test Cosmic Fighters)
I installed the Macromedia player thingy (you know the one! 😃 ) and SeleQ after S-Compress, to test it out. Compressed both of these, and then problems started....
Have you tried re-installing sCompress. I haven't had any error messages using it yet, I also have cosmic fighters installed.....It doesn't really have much effect when it packs it, you save about 190k
