The card might work, but not much faster. MMCplus needs more pins on the card and the device you use it in (the faster data transfer is based on more parallel leads/connectors & the N-Gage QD has only the original 9 pins).
A bigger speed limiter would be the read speed of the device you're using it with; if it is a smartphone (i.e. one running Symbian S60/UIQ/S80/S90) or PDA it likely won't be able to use even a regular MMC with good transfer rates at full speed.
Impressive !!
Back again after 1.5 year.

Of course, but at least u will be able to take advantage of this spped s in working with card reader 😉

If it is card reader that supports MMCplus cards & speed(s). All don't.
It's still best to check a full compatibility list if possible. I just got a Kingston MMCplus card (512MB) and it doesn't work correctly on my N-Gage QD. If the phone is turned on with the card inside, it works fine, but if the card is hot inserted, it just says "Memory card corrupted".
I own Trancend's 1GB MMC cards (yep, bought two of them) and they work FLAWLESSLY with the QD. I have hot swapped thousands of times, installed and uninstalled tons of programs. They are just superb. If the 2GB card works on the QD and is from Trancend, I'm sure it'll be the same way. As soon as I get confirmation that they do work, I'll order one. Can't have too much memory 😊

MMC or MMCplus?
I also have Transcend's regular MMC and they work fine, but I want to move to MMCplus.
