Image resizing

Is there an image resizing app for the 6680? Take a pic in full size, or on high quality at 640 x 480, and it's too big to send via MMS. Is there an app that you can use to resize the pic on the phone? Had a look but can't find one.

The K750i has this feature I would really like to add it to my phone (I'm surprised the 6680 doesn't offer this automatically)

Thanks

The 6680 supports resizing the image when sending it via MMS. In the "Messaging" app hit "Options", choose "Multimedia message" and change the "Image size" between "Small", "Large" or "Original" (from smallest to largest in size).

"Large" should be best ("Small" is too small) and "Original" is too big for most MMS gateways.

Thanks for that. I checked the settings, and I had it set to large. Most pics wouldn't go, rejected as too large. My camera settings were on just VGA but with fine quality chosen instead of normal. Seems the only guaranteed option is small. I'll play around sending some pics to see what they look like.

hmmm my MMS image size on my 6630 is set to large and I take all my pics at 1280 x 960 with quality settings at max and I've never had any problems sending pics via MMS and I've sent hundreds of them, what network are you on?

I've tried taking some photos on the large setting, 1280 x 960 and sending them via MMS with the MMS settings set to large, and it works fine. Having the camera set to 640 x 480 and the mms settings on large invariably the pics wouldn't send.

I still think a quick image resizing app could be useful, for sending via email too as well as extending the MMS capability. Some full size pics can be half a meg. Its all well and fine sending them via email on 3G speed wise but there is still an issue over cost if you send too many.
