weel can i can find 2 9210 but how i do it with them?
What do use your communicator for?
You send the messages from your 9210 to the other via infrared. Then you send them back to yours and when you have to save them you select the mmc. This is how I did it. :P
Hope to help you!! 😊
I don't have ne 😮ops: still too costly in this part of world
Don't loose hope!
I currently have 2, one 9210 and one 9210i, the 9210 is intended for my girlfriend, but since the LCD screen is broken she'll have to wait...
I bought my 9210i for fun actually, I saw the picture and wanted it... nothing more, nothing less.
But nowadays I use it mostly to make word- and excel files at work. since my job did not come with a computer and I have the memory of the average brick I began typing everything I need to remember...
Perhaps I should go and look for an IQ upgrade, but I like it this way.
That much covered it for me, and I hereby made it cristal clear that I am a typical nutcase, but who cares right?
I noticed quite a change from 9210 to 9210i...!!!!!!!! :P

Yes! gray buttons on the outside! :-?

So true !!! I think the phone comes 2nd to the schedule/reminders, notepad/word doc (I've even got bus schedules in it !), email, etc etc... Oh & a bit of netsurfing as well - though it's a bit slow, even with images disabled, BUt I normally only read the BBCs text pages.
Yeah,this device is really great!!!
It's been a busy year. I've never made much sense in this beloved forum so i suppose i've not been missed 😞 But I have used my comm. to the point where it is finally indespensible. I spent 22 wks working in London,Islington, Muswell hill and the great Edgeware rd) and relied soley on my little grey companion throughout. I have no need of laptop glamour, being neither three or seven feet tall, and have stayed in regular contact with home (my girlfriend was there when i got back!!!) and business contacts, (i still work for myself..no boss..hooray!!)So I have to say that even though i never bothered to upgrade past v3.54 it has become my most trusted companion. It would seem to remember things much better than my bushmills soaked noggin so it keeps me on track. I may have had some bad words for uncle nokia and his servants in the past, but i am sending out a Worldwide appology, Nokia (Mr/Mrs/???) you served me well and helped to feed my dog and cats (one of which is currently missing, Maurice the cat went out last night 15/3/03 and hasn't returned yet, most distressing, even to a dog person like me) so it proves the system workes afterall 😮ops:
I don't know if i should say this but my mate may or may not have got the whole of goldmember onto a 64k card, with jolly nice sound too. Is that hard or have i just been away too long?
It's good to hear that! :P
I may be slow, but I've just now realized it's fun to listen to music on my 9210 😃 I've been converting mp3s to wavs and I listen to them with the inbuilt recorder app. They sound like my old LPs on an old record player 8)
I use mine, firstly Calendar for my appointments, tasks & events. It has alarm to elert me. Words, I use for my notes and letters, sheets for keeping track of expenses and business finances. Contacts is used to store my 1000 + contacts, personal & business contacts. Messaging, help me to send fax, sms and emails. I have other applications such as Code Vault - to keep all my confidential matters such as passwords, credit cards info etc. There are other applications, such as Monnaie & Converter
to help me to do conversion and currencies exchange calculations. Games i.e Bounce & MGS to utilise my free time and reduce my stress. This Communicator also store pictures. I use 128MB MMC card for additional memory. This is a great device. I also have Sony Clie NR70 (using Palm OS) and XDA O2 (using Pocket PC OS) but Nokia 9210i is the best. 😃

great! :P
Hi all... i was using pocket pc (iPAQ 3660 until 5450) until a few weeks ago.. i lost my iPAQ 5450... so i have to look for replacement. I was thinking that for my need, which is taking notes, calendar, sms, email, calculator, etc... pocketpc is a bit of overkill... and expensive (mostly), since have to get a phone too. The new XDA/MDA/SX56 looks interesting, but then again not really sure about handwriting recognition, although i have had a good experience with iPAQ (one of the lucky one).
So i started to look at smartphones... never like ericsson, not even when it's sony ericsson 😃 i know that it's a good phone (P800), but still... another is motorola A388c but have to wait until god knows when.. siemen sx1...nice, but too weird for me... so i decided to get 9210i... and I LOVE IT..!!! don't have real problem with the keyboard like most ppl, use to it i guess, have been using electronic organizer since my high school years in early 90s, so i can still type faster than using handwriting recognition... i can spare the money for new phone 😃
unfortunately, i switched to mac 100% too this year, coz of work... anyone can help in sync-in with mac os x? i sold my pc this month 😞
but i miss the drawing with stylus capability in pocketpc, but oh well... why pay for something you dont use or need, right? and 9210i got all u need for everyday business needs... even love using the excel (screen is horizontal, not like in iPAQ)
hmm... long enough...
nice to b here 😃
My 9210i runs my business for me.
I will never be able to use a different phone. Except if there is a updated version of the 9210i.
Nokia stays the best. 😃
