Okay, this is the last straw. Now I really HATE Microsoft! evil
flifob, you seem to know your stuff. I guess our best bet is a combination of Microsoft leaving MSM access open through non MS platforms, and that IM+ hits the shelves (or desktops/forums ) ) soon

Sorry, but MIDP in 7650 don't support sockets. So, if your messenger working, it working via http and it generate very big traffic 😊(Especially for Jabber, bacause it's XML-based protocol. ) so, i'll pay
a lot for using your messenger in my Nokia... 😊[/quote]
well, it's true, midp in 7650 don't support socket... Tell Nokia. :P
But with a minimal knowledge of Symbian and Java programming and a lot of test we reach to use sockets in 7650...
Yes, we use sockets, not http polling! If you don't believe read the press release and download the software:
http://www.tipic.com/node.php?id=1394 😃 😃 😃
PS in the next version we will have streaming compression, so, be sure, you'll pay nothing to be online... 😉 😉

😊
tell this to some one else, but not to me 😊
you are using http-proxy( HTTP 1.1 support "long" connections to server.
but don't tell me, what you are not pulling the server... 😉 ).
PS.
i don't think, what i'll pay noting, if your "streaming compression" is a simply binary XML... (jabber-server are support bXml)
