i tried whole night long but it seems like it doesn't support the mp3 ring tone at all.......unlike my old p910i.....arrrggghhhh!!! can anyone gimme a hand please????
does 9500 REALLY support mp3 ring tone?
Mine does (my ring tone is an elephant sound - I thought it quite appropriate for such a big phone). If you like I can email my MP3 file to you so you can test it on your phone. If this still doesn't work maybe something is wrong with your configuration.
Maybe it also depends on the file format (kbps etc), I don't know which formats are supported.
It's also better to have the ringtone on the phone, not the MMC card, as it can cause the tone to sometimes not work, (Usually defaults then to the Nokia RT),

absolutely no difference with what kbps ur mp3 is in.. mine plays all from 48 to 128.
try playing it with music player..if it does not play there there it means its a curropt file.
By the way i've had no problems & all my MP3 tones are on my 1GB memory card only...never had a problem at all & at any given time..i have 6 apps opened in te background ..s

I found something funny......my communicator actually play some .wma files! Hmm......
