WAVs quality

which is higher in quality for a wav ringtone on the 7650?
to be a stereo, or to be 16 bit or to have a higher sampling rate?

7650 cant handle stereo. 16 bit is better but 8 bit is also more then enough..and saves space too.

I make them 8 bit 22000khz mono.

16bit 8khz mono is best playback you can get. 8bit should sound fine, too.
