Hi,

Here is where i will be posting some screencaps/short reviews on all the c64 games that gets a "Nosferatu O.K"...
So how do i judge them???
well... it's all about playability... nice graphic... great sound FX... and most important of all... which runs smoothly on our 9210!!! 😉

Here's PacMania by NAMCO LTD.

Graphics: Jason Wilson
Programmed: Shaun Hollingworth Peter Harrad
Musician: Ben Daglish
Developed by: Grandslam Entertainment
Published by: Namco

Its basically Pacman in 3D with the capability to jump...
Very nice and is a "MUST HAVE" for PacMan fan...
Different levels provide different mazes... i'm amazed.

😃 Thanks, i will soon test some of the games there later...
Let's hope that it'll get "Nosferatu O.K"...
:P hehehe...

If you head down to your local PC World, or GAME, or similar software store in the UK (I dunno about elsewhere), you can pick up CDs with emulators and 1000s of games on for the Speccy, C64, Amiga, and Atari ST computers. Quick, simple, and only a tenner.

... but, incase you live too far from UK, but have fast connection you can leave your FTP downloading games from large C64 archives like http://arnold.c64.org. This is what i did and received about 6800 C64 games which i burned into CD-R afterwards 😊

I already posted this and some other huge gamesites on another topic ->

id die for this on my 7650

as a c64 junkie, here is my list of games u must try

wizball - some of the most amazing music ever
the last ninja - same, isometric 3d ninja game, years ahead of its time
IK+ = 3 at a time beat em up, forget mortal kombat and tekken !
paradroid - very original droid game
head over heels - isometric 3d game - puzzle type, again years ahead
turrican - pretty decent platformer

the list is endless !

:P Thanks for the "MUST TRY" list... i will check it out when i got the time... been pretty busy lately. Glad to know that there's someone else "CRAZY" about C64...

to me, most of the games might be simple looking but hey sometimes its far more addictive than the fancy looking ones of nowadays... dont u agree??? 😉

8) "simplicity is always the best in whatever.. complicated...what???"

aye ....totally

when i think of xbox games with 4 gig downloads and then compare them to wizball.......under 64k, i weep

dont get me started on this subject, i've taken lectures on it !

on a side note, yself and some friends are remaking wizball for the pc! the first version will be true to the original, 2D scroller. My job is to do the music. Do yourself a favour, get sidplay for windows (will someone PLEASE port this to 7650...the source code is there!!!!!) and download a SID file of wizball. listen to that glorious music! the sid file is 9K i think. some of the best music written for a computer game...and its 9k. some games have over a gig of music on tem and they dont come close

i dont want to rant and rave, but im hoping the invention of mobile platforms will take us back to the golden age of gaming, where people will be cramming there games into as little space as possible for our wireless devices. this encourages programmers not to become lazy.

like i said, dont get me started on this !

lol
