mp3 as ringtone for nokia 6600
hey i have tried to install codec on my 6600 but during installation it deliver message "app close:file mngr" why can u name any better software to set mp3 as ringtone

i tried everything but couldnt make my mp3 as ringtone. The way a software and the codec posted doesnt work. But i installed the software named wmaplus which was provided by the member above and everything worked no need for somethingelse. just install this software and copy your mp3 to your phone, you can use them immediately as ringtone, dont mess you up with that Mp3WmaOgg... interesting that nobody else tried this software, if you would you wouldnt need to ask anymore for help really..

I installed "Mp3WmaOgg[1].Codec_6600" on my 6600 and I have problem now. When I go to profiles and try to change ringtone my phone just restarts. I thinks that it is because I installed this codec. It restarts even when I want to change alarm sound...
So tell me how can I uninstal this codec, what to do??
anyone have solution quickly ????

i have a problem... i can listen to the mp3:s in the player but i cant get them as ringtones, how the hell do i choose them as ringtones?

2. Important!!!!....the mp3 file must be save in joint stereo 128 bits 44.1Khz...u can make it using the Db power amp converter..if u dont have the converter, email me...i cant post it here because the file is big even in zip format..cant pass the max limit...sorry for the hustle...
3. How's the phone gonna accept the file...😎 ..it simple...the phone will accept the file when it has id3v2 tag....u can set it by using media player like winamp....just import the file to winamp playlist..right click and choose 'view file info'...
4. Now its ready...one more thing...u have to save the mp3 file in the original sound folder on ur memory card...done...
5. Plz give comment and any sugestion...this is my first post...i really hope that i can help u all....

Brilliant works a treat!! I dont even have to go into winamp to change the id tag just save any mp3 as 128 bitrate and bingo it works!!

hey it dint work on my 6600 also when i go to profiles to set mp3 as ringtone but saying format not supported nor its getting played in the volume section of the profiles.

Why not to make your favorite ringtones ? It is easy , I have using mp3 to ringtone gold to make my ringtones for a long time , it works pretty good , just download it at oursdownload.com
